    I’ve chosen to focus specifically on phonics instruction rather than covering the entire scope of literacy. This allows me to be a go-to source for targeted phonics strategies and resources, giving teachers the support they need without overwhelming them with extra information.

    Accessible

    I value open access to knowledge and avoid “gatekeeping.” I freely share what I’ve learned from conferences and professional experiences, offering free resources to empower educators and help them make sense of phonics instruction without overcomplicating it.

    Connection

    I focus on practical, relevant advice that fits easily into teachers’ day-to-day experiences. I was a classroom teacher for 13 years and I’ve been providing professional development for the last 3 years. I taught through the pandemic and understand the struggles of classroom teaching today.

    Engagement

    Engagement is at the heart of my approach to phonics. I aim to make learning playful, exciting, and relevant by creating themed resources that align with student interests. By keeping activities fresh while maintaining consistent routines, my resources build strong reading skills!
